It is important to know

Before choosing the White Shark GH-2446 headset, it is worth considering your usage pattern and expectations regarding comfort, sound quality and connectivity. The key factor with this type of gaming headset is understanding the differences and practical implications of wired connectivity and headphone shape on long-term use. Be aware of the real benefits that speaker size offers, as well as some limitations that are not always apparent in the specifications.

• A wired connection means stable transmission without lag, which is important for gaming, but it limits movement and use on multiple devices at the same time.
• 53mm speakers typically deliver more pronounced bass and spacious sound, but the size of the headphones may make them less suitable for smaller heads or for very long-term wear.
• The removable microphone allows for multi-purpose use - when you need the microphone for communication, simply attach it, and when you simply listen to music, remove it and the headphones are less noticeable.
• A braided cable with a length of 2 m is more durable and less prone to knotting, but also means a constant physical connection to the selected device.

In practice

🟢 Gaming on PC

Very convenient – the wired connection and large microphone ensure reliable communication and low latency, which is essential for real-time gaming.

🟢 Listening to music or movies for hours at home

Very suitable - the size of the speakers and the over-ear design create a comfortable feeling and good surround sound, especially for static use at home.

🟡 Mobile use or use on the go

Suitable with limitations – the wired connection and larger size of the headphones make them difficult to use outside the home or on the move; they are more suitable for stationary use.

🔴 Sports and exercise

Less suitable – the rugged design and cable don't offer comfort or stability for running or exercising.

🟡 Calls and video conferences

Suitable with limitations – the removable microphone allows use for calls, but there is no special technological support for noise reduction in noisy environments.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Can the microphone be completely removed?

Yes, the microphone is removable, making the headphones more discreet for listening to music or watching movies.

Do the headphones work on all devices with the appropriate connector?

The headphones are compatible with devices that have a standard 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack, including most computers and consoles.

Is braided cable really more resistant to damage?

The braided design generally increases the durability of the cable and reduces the possibility of tangling or knotting.

Are the headphones suitable for long-term use without recording in between?

Due to their over-ear design and soft cushions, they are suitable for hours of use, but the slightly heavier weight may affect comfort during prolonged use.
