MIG MAG MMA TIG inverter welding machine without gas 180A LCD wire - top 4-in-1 welding station
Looking for a top-of-the-line welding machine that combines four different welding methods in a single, compact and lightweight housing? The MIG MAG MMA TIG Inverter Welder Gas-Free 180A LCD Wire (SKU: RTMSTF0113) is the ultimate tool for DIYers, auto body builders, farmers and field maintenance workers. Its biggest advantage is the ability to MIG gas-free welding (FCAW FLUX) with a self-shielding flux cored wire, which means you can create professional welds anywhere - without lugging heavy, dangerous and expensive gas cylinders.
This versatile semi-automatic welding machine is powered by advanced inverter technology (IGBT), which ensures an extremely stable arc, minimal spatter and high energy efficiency. The modern, clear and easy-to-use LCD display allows for quick, synergic or manual adjustment of all parameters. The machine automatically suggests optimal settings based on the selected wire thickness and material, making work easier for beginners and saving valuable time for professionals.

Why choose a 180A inverter welding machine? Main advantages:

4-in-1 versatility: You can weld with FCAW FLUX (gas-free), MMA (coated electrode) and TIG LIFT (precision touch welding). One device replaces several specialized machines.
Synergy operation: Forget about time-consuming and complicated manual settings. Synergy mode automatically adjusts wire feed speed and voltage according to selected parameters (wire diameter 0.8 / 0.9 / 1.0 mm).
Advanced IGBT technology: Modern IGBT transistors provide stable welding current, smooth operation and an extremely predictable arc with minimal metal spatter.
Single and double pulse modes: The single and double pulse functions provide superior control over the welding process, ensuring exceptional weld quality, especially in more demanding materials such as stainless steel and aluminum.
Complete mobility and lightness: With an extremely low weight of only 3.6 kg and compact dimensions, this device is ideal for working in the field, at heights or in confined spaces. It can be plugged into a standard 230 V domestic socket.

Key features for superior welding results
1. FCAW FLUX – Professional welding without a gas cylinder
The device fully supports the FCAW (FLUX) method, which uses self-shielding flux cored wire. This allows you to quickly prepare the work site without the need for external shielding gas (argon or CO2). Ideal for outdoor work where wind cannot blow away the shielding gas.
2. MMA welding with advanced features
For classic arc welding with a coated electrode (diameter from 1.6 to 4.0 mm), the device offers three indispensable assistances:

HOT START: Temporarily increases the welding current when the arc is ignited, which prevents the electrode from sticking at the very beginning.
ARC FORCE: Automatically stabilizes the arc and optimizes the transfer of metal droplets during operation.
ANTI STICK: If the electrode nevertheless sticks, the system immediately reduces the current, allowing easy removal of the electrode without damaging the material.

3. Precise TIG LIFT method
For exceptionally clean, aesthetic and even welds on stainless steel and other metals, you can use the TIG LIFT method. The arc is easily ignited by lightly touching the tungsten electrode to the workpiece. (Note: This method requires a TIG torch with a gas valve, which is not part of the basic kit).
4. Double-roller wire feeding system and EURO connector
The device is equipped with a reliable two-roller mechanism that prevents wire slippage and ensures even feeding through the torch. The standard EURO connector allows for quick assembly, disassembly or replacement of the welding cable without opening the device housing.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can I weld with this device without a gas cylinder?
Yes, the device is specifically designed for welding using the FCAW (FLUX) method, which means that you use a self-shielding cored wire. In this mode, you do not need a gas cylinder, as the wire releases the shielding gas itself during melting. The kit already includes two spools of 0.8 mm FLUX wire.
What does synergy mode mean on the LCD screen?
Synergy Mode is an advanced feature that simplifies machine setup. Instead of guessing the right ratio between wire speed and voltage, you select the desired wire diameter on the screen and the machine automatically suggests the optimal welding parameters for a stable arc and a perfect weld.
Is the device suitable for field work?
Absolutely. With its extremely low weight (only 3.6 kg), compact dimensions and operation on standard single-phase voltage of 230 V, this welding machine is extremely portable. Since you do not need a gas cylinder to work with FLUX wire, transport is quick and easy.

Instructions for using the product:
Preparation for MIG welding without gas (FLUX):
• Installing the wire spool: Open the side cover of the appliance. Unscrew the nut on the shaft, install the cored wire spool (make sure the wire unwinds correctly) and tighten the nut again (not too tightly).
• Wire feeding: Straighten the end of the wire, cut off the sharp edge and push it through the guide over the drive wheel into the MIG torch. Close the pressure lever on the feeder.
• Polarity setting (Crucial for working without gas): * For welding with flux cored wire, change the polarity: Connect the cable from the machine housing to the negative pole (-), and connect the earth clamp to the positive pole (+).
• Torch connection: Screw the MIG torch into the Euro connector on the front of the device. Press the rapid feed button on the device (or the switch on the torch) to feed the wire through the torch nozzle.
Switching to other methods (MMA / TIG):
• MMA (Electrode): Disconnect the MIG torch. Connect the electrode holder and the ground to the appropriate poles (+/- depending on the electrode type, usually the electrode to +). Select MMA mode on the LCD screen.
• TIG (Lift TIG): Connect the TIG torch (not included with all models) to the negative pole, ground to the positive pole, and the Argon gas hose to the gas cylinder. Select TIG mode on the LCD display.

Useful tips:
• Cleaning slag in FLUX welding: Welding without gas (with flux cored wire) leaves behind a layer of slag, similar to welding with an electrode. After completing the weld, always use a welding hammer and wire brush to clean the surface.
• Torch guidance (The "pull" technique): When welding with flux-cored wire without gas, you pull the torch (like writing with a pencil) instead of pushing it. The rule is: "Where there's slag, you drag."
• Correct wire run-out length: Before striking the arc, the wire should protrude from the nozzle by approximately 10–15 mm. If it is too long, trim it with pliers.
• Cleaning the contact tip: Since welding without gas produces more spatter, regularly use anti-spatter spray on the torch tip and regularly remove accumulated metal droplets.

Warnings:
• Danger of toxic gases (especially with FLUX welding): The cored wire contains a flux that produces more smoke and fumes during combustion than classic gas welding. Welding without gas should only be carried out outdoors or in extremely well-ventilated areas. The use of a welding mask with extraction or a respirator is strongly recommended.
• Risk of electric shock: Only connect the device to a grounded 230V socket protected by an appropriate residual current device (RCD). Never operate in a damp environment or in the rain.
• Protection against UV radiation and sparks: The welding arc produces a strong light that can damage the eyes. The use of an automatic welding mask is mandatory (recommended setting DIN 10–13). Wear leather welding gloves and long clothing made of non-flammable materials (cotton or leather).
• Fire hazard: Sparks and hot slag particles can fly up to 10 meters. Before starting work, remove all flammable materials (petrol, cleaning agents, wood, paper) from the area. Always have a suitable fire extinguisher ready in the workshop (ask for a powder or $CO_2$ fire extinguisher).
• Proper cooling: Do not cover the ventilation slots on the appliance housing. If the thermal protection indicator (overheating) comes on, do not turn off the appliance. Leave it on to allow the fan to cool the internal electronics.
