Same summary

This security camera with 4K resolution and a night vision range of up to 30 meters is designed for more demanding surveillance of the surroundings of the house, yard or entrance, where it is important to clearly identify people and events even at night. PoE power supply and wired connection are suitable for rooms with the possibility of a stable network and electrical connection, which ensures reliable operation without interruptions. Due to its robust design (IP66), it is suitable for various weather conditions outdoors, but less so for users who do not have the option of wired installation or PoE infrastructure. The camera offers a good compromise between high image quality and connection stability, but the storage of recordings with this type must be checked according to the specific surveillance needs.

User view

This camera is typically suited to users who want discreet but detailed monitoring of their home or business premises. It is most often used to monitor entrances, garages or wider driveways, where resolution is essential for detecting motion and clarity of the image. In practice, this provides a reassuring sense of security, as the high-quality image and low-light capture make it easier to distinguish who is coming or staying near the property.

Many users also base their security equipment choices on the reliability and ecosystem of Ubiquiti products, as they allow for easy expansion or management of multiple cameras in one system.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Is this camera also suitable for outdoor use in extreme weather conditions?

Yes, this IP66-certified model allows for outdoor use and is resistant to rain, dust, and temperature fluctuations, making it reliable even in more challenging weather conditions.

How is this camera powered and is additional electrical wiring required?

The camera uses PoE (Power over Ethernet), which means it receives power over the same network cable as the data transmission. Additional electrical wiring is usually not required if you have a PoE switch or injector in your existing network.

Is the quality of the footage sufficient to recognize people even at night?

The 8MP resolution combined with an IR filter and night vision allows for clear recognition of people and details even in complete darkness up to a distance of 30 meters.

How do I save my recordings – do I need additional equipment?

The storage method depends on the specific setup and system; usually the camera supports connection to NVR recorders or specific clouds - we recommend that you check the options within your equipment and needs before purchasing.

Can I independently integrate the camera into an existing third-party security system?

Connectivity is provided through a wired network and standard protocols, but for full compatibility with systems from other manufacturers, it is recommended to check the technical requirements before installation.
