It is important to know

When choosing this security camera, it is crucial to consider the specifics regarding power and connection, as these technical aspects decisively affect both the suitability for the chosen location and its long-term usability. The camera brings a combination of mobile connection and solar power, which allows installation where conventional infrastructure is not available. Before purchasing, pay attention to the trade-off between the convenience of a cable-free installation and the possible effects of environmental conditions on the operation of the solar panel and mobile connection.

• Solar power is practical for remote locations without electricity, but it requires sufficient sunlight - power outages can occur in shady or very poor weather conditions.
• A mobile 3G/4G connection allows you to work even where there is no WiFi or wired connection, but it depends on the quality of the mobile signal at the location.
• Pan/Tilt movement increases the coverage area, but for larger areas or distant corners, the resolution and viewing angle can still limit the perception of detail.
• We must not ignore that continuous recording and increased camera activity can increase energy consumption, which affects autonomy, especially in winter or on frequent cloudy days.

In practice

🟢 External monitoring of remote locations without electricity or WiFi

The camera is very suitable for weekends, construction sites or remote facilities where there is no conventional electrical and network connection, as it combines solar power and mobile 4G access.

🟢 Quick and wireless installation

The system's stand-alone nature (no need for cables) allows for easy installation where permanent installation is impractical or would be expensive.

🟢 Monitor the surroundings of the house or yard with higher resolution

The 3 MP recording resolution provides a clear enough image for observing normal yard distances and recognizing general events or movement.

🟡 Continuous operation in bad weather conditions

During extended periods of bad weather or in winter, autonomy may be reduced due to limited charging of the solar panel, especially during high camera activity.

🟡 Use in larger yards or rugged areas

Although the camera is rotatable, head movements alone will be insufficient in larger areas with many critical angles - in such locations it may be necessary to install more cameras or choose a higher resolution.

🔴 Indoor use in areas without good mobile coverage

The camera is less suitable if the mobile network signal is poor, as this may affect the reliability of access to live footage and motion detection notifications.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Can the camera operate completely autonomously without electricity and a constant internet connection?

Yes, if there is enough sunlight and the mobile 3G/4G signal at the location is satisfactory, the camera works without the need for an electrical connection or local WiFi network.

What happens if there is a prolonged period of bad weather or cloud cover?

Recharging via the solar panel is reduced, which may temporarily reduce autonomy or limit camera operation until there is enough solar energy to charge.

What does it mean for a camera to be Pan/Tilt and how does this affect area coverage?

Pan/Tilt means you can remotely rotate the camera horizontally and vertically, which increases control of the areas covered compared to a fixed camera, but even so, every corner of a larger area is not always within reach with a single movement.

Does the camera need a SIM card to work?

For mobile 3G/4G operation, a SIM card with an appropriate data package is required. Without it, it only works with a classic network connection, if available.

Is the camera suitable for installation on construction sites or temporary locations?

Yes, due to its independent power supply and mobile connection, it is most useful for temporary, flexible setups without wired infrastructure.
