TIG Lift Gun for Welding Machines 35-50 (WP-17V) – Professional Welding Torch for Superior Results
Are you looking for a reliable, universal and extremely robust TIG torch that will turn your existing welding machine into a powerful TIG welding tool? The TIG lift gun for welding machines 35-50 connector (model POWERMAT TIG-17V-35 or WP-17-V / SR17V) is the ideal solution for both professional welders and demanding DIYers. This top-of-the-line welding torch with ŁW 35-50 connector is designed for broad compatibility with most welding machines on the market.
Thanks to the built-in gas valve on the handle and the integrated gas connection, it enables easy TIG welding (in argon shielding gas) when connected to a conventional inverter MMA welding machine or a multifunctional device of the MIG + MMA + TIG LIFT type. In addition, the included control cable allows use in dedicated TIG DC/AC machines with contactless (HF) arc ignition. The product is delivered fully equipped and ready for immediate use.
Why choose TIG-17V-35 welding torch? Key advantages
Exceptional versatility: Suitable for MMA inverter machines, multi-purpose MIG/MMA/TIG devices and dedicated TIG AC/DC welding machines.
Dual arc ignition option: Supports both contact ignition (TIG-LIFT, TIG-SCRATCH) and non-contact ignition (HF) using a control cable.
Ergonomic and durable design: The ergonomic handle shape with precise throttle button ensures comfortable, fatigue-free work. The high-quality rubber coating protects the cables from mechanical wear and damage.
Complete set to get started right away: The torch is equipped with consumables (nozzles, sleeves, caps), saving you time and additional purchase costs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Can I use this TIG torch on my regular MMA (stick) welding machine?
Yes, absolutely. The TIG-17V-35 torch is equipped with a manual gas valve on the handle. When connected to a conventional inverter MMA machine and directly to an argon cylinder, you can weld using the TIG touch method (TIG-LIFT or TIG-SCRATCH) without any problems.
2. What is the difference between the ŁW 35-50 connector and smaller connectors?
The ŁW 35-50 connector indicates a larger diameter bayonet connector (approximately 13 mm pin diameter) used on more powerful welding machines (usually above 160-200 A). Please check the socket size on your welding machine before purchasing.
3. How does contactless (HF) ignition work with this gun?
In addition to the main welding cable, the torch also has an integrated control cable with a connector. If your welding machine supports HF (high frequency) ignition and has a corresponding control socket, simply connect the control cable and strike the arc by pressing a button without touching the workpiece.

Instructions for using the product:
• Before use, check the TIG torch, cable, 35–50 connector, gas valve, ceramic nozzle and tungsten electrode.
• Disconnect the welding machine from the electrical network.
• Connect the TIG torch to the appropriate 35–50 connector of the welding machine and check that the connection is secure. (haloorodje.si)
• Connect the gas hose to the shielding gas supply and check that the connections are leak-proof.
• Install the appropriate tungsten electrode into the torch. Diameters of approximately 1–3.2 mm are supported.
• Set the argon flow to approximately 5–12 l/min, depending on the material, electrode and welding conditions. (haloorodje.si)
• Select the appropriate TIG-LIFT mode on the welding machine.
• Carefully bring the tip of the electrode close to or touch the welding surface and then lift it to strike the arc.
• Guide the torch evenly along the welding spot and ensure sufficient argon protection.
• After welding, close the gas supply, turn off the appliance and wait for the torch and workpiece to cool down.
Useful tips for work:
• Before purchasing or using, check that your welding machine has a compatible 35–50 connector and TIG-LIFT support.
• For a quality weld, the welding surface, electrode and gas nozzle must be clean.
• Adjust the argon flow to the working conditions; too high a flow can cause turbulence and poor weld protection.
• When TIG-LIFT ignition, do not drag the electrode across the surface with strong pressure – perform the process in a controlled manner.
• Sharpen the tungsten electrode correctly according to the type of welding and check it regularly.
• Lay the cable so that it is not pinched, twisted, or exposed to sharp edges or hot surfaces during welding.
• The torch is air-cooled, so when welding for extended periods, please observe the permitted operating times of your torch and welding machine.
Warnings:
⚠️ Welding can cause serious injuries, fire and electric shock - use the product only if you are trained in safe welding.⚠️ Always turn off the welding machine and disconnect it from the electrical network before connecting or removing the torch.⚠️ Do not use the torch with a damaged cable, connector, handle or insulation.⚠️ Before use, check that the 35-50 connector is correctly and firmly connected.⚠️ Use an appropriate protective welding mask, gloves, protective clothing and suitable footwear.⚠️ The welding arc generates strong UV/IR radiation - never look directly into the arc and protect people nearby.⚠️ Vapours and gases are produced during welding - ensure effective ventilation or adequate extraction.⚠️ Argon can be dangerous in closed spaces due to oxygen displacement - ensure sufficient ventilation.⚠️ Do not weld near flammable materials, liquids or gases.⚠️ The torch, electrode, nozzle and workpiece become very hot during welding - do not touch them with bare skin after work.⚠️ Before use, always check the compatibility of the torch with your welding machine and its permissible current loads.
