Staedtler paper shading sticks set. They are intended for shading and blurring transitions when creating with charcoal, dry pastel, chalk and pencil. The set contains four pieces of sticks in thicknesses 1, 4, 6 and 8.

It is important to know

Before choosing a Staedtler Design Journey 4/1 shading tool in a blister pack, it is useful to consider who will use it and how in the office environment. Multipacking brings advantages for group use, but it is crucial that the tool meets the needs in terms of pencil type and complexity of the tasks. We draw attention to the practical differences between the precision of the tools and the economics of purchasing for multiple users.

• If you need multiple items for your team or want a constant supply, multipacking makes more sense cost-wise and logistically than individual products.
• The ability to use different types of pencils or crayons is especially important in environments where users change or different media are used – check if the set covers all your requirements.
• When used together in an office, it is worth considering easy maintenance and cleaning, especially if it is used frequently at multiple workstations.

In practice

🟢 Everyday office use

The four-tool set allows you to always have essential tools at hand or distribute them among multiple workstations.

🟡 Technical drawing and precise shading

It is useful for basic sketching and shading, but for more complex technical drawings, be careful whether the contents of the package match the expected level of precision and specific pencils.

🟡 Shared use in offices

Practical for teams, but when working together on a more regular basis, it is necessary to consider organizing an additional supply due to the possible faster consumption or loss of individual tools.
