SONOFF MINIR4M (Extreme) Matter 4-pack of switches

Transform traditional lighting and electrical appliances into smart home components with the SONOFF MINIR4M switch. This compact Wi-Fi module with Matter certification offers broad compatibility with popular smart home platforms such as Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa. Thanks to its extremely small dimensions of 39.5 × 33 × 16.8 mm, it easily fits even into small wall cabinets - it is 40% smaller than the MINIR4 model. The package contains 4 units.

Substance compatibility and rapid local action

MINIR4M is Matter certified, allowing it to work not only with SONOFF devices, but also with products from other manufacturers that support this standard. The device can be added to the eWeLink app or directly paired with the Matter code in compatible apps such as Apple Home, Google Home or Alexa, allowing you to control multiple devices from a single platform. Thanks to local communication within the home network, compatible devices can directly exchange data, ensuring faster operation and greater reliability, even when there is no connection to the server.

Wide compatibility with switches

The MINIR4M works with a wide range of switches and controllers. It can be connected to doorbell switches, classic light switches, SPDT switches, exit buttons and potential-free contact sensors, among others. This makes it easy to integrate into both new installations and existing control systems.

Flexible control and automation

The "Disconnect Relay" function allows you to separate the state of an external switch from the state of the relay, so that using the connected switch does not necessarily affect the operation of the device controlled by the module. The switch also allows you to create schedules, timers and recurring scenarios. It supports smart scenes that work with motion sensors, door and window sensors and other components of the smart home system; records event history and can be controlled by voice via Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

Additional safety features and reliability

The MINIR4M is equipped with a power-on delay function that allows you to set a delay before devices turn on after a power failure. This helps prevent multiple devices from turning on simultaneously and resulting high inrush currents. The housing, made of PC V0 material with the highest level of fire resistance, increases safety during use, and the relay is designed for up to 100,000 switching cycles.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Is SONOFF MINIR4M suitable for use with all smart ecosystems?

This switch supports the Matter protocol, which allows connection to most modern smart ecosystems (e.g. Google Home, Apple HomeKit, Samsung SmartThings), but it is recommended to check compatibility with the individual central system beforehand.

Is the module assembly difficult and can I do it myself?

The product is designed for installation in standard flush-mounted boxes; installation can be easy for experienced users, but professional assistance is recommended as it involves working with electrical wiring.

What do I need besides the switch itself to fully utilize all the features?

In addition to the module, you need a smartphone with the appropriate app and a Wi-Fi network. If you want to integrate with a larger ecosystem, check if your home already supports Matter or a possible gateway/hub to connect.

How secure is the management module regarding remote access?

Thanks to the Matter protocol and modern security standards, communication is encrypted, and we recommend that users regularly update the application and maintain the security of their home network.

Can I control multiple rooms with one kit?

Since it is a 4-pack of modules, you can arrange them in different rooms and control them all with one application, which is especially practical in larger apartments or houses.
