    Compliance with WHO standards

The SilverCloud MB23 electronic upper arm blood pressure monitor is used to measure blood pressure on the upper arm (above the elbow) and heart rate. The device complies with World Health Organization (WHO) standards. Measurements are classified according to the WHO evaluation system using a color scale. The measurement method is oscillometric, which records the vibrations of the artery walls compressed by a pneumatic cuff as blood flows through, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

    Memory 90 measurements

The automatic memory function allows you to store 90 values, along with the date and time of their performance, ensuring you get a good assessment when visiting a specialist.

    It is important to know

Before choosing an upper arm blood pressure monitor like the SilverCloud MB23, it is crucial to consider how often and for what purposes you will use it, and whether you need the ability to store measurements for multiple people. Some features, such as cuff size, display readability, and ease of use, have a great practical impact on everyday use, especially in households with multiple users or elderly people.

    • Separate memory is not a given: if the meter is used by two people, check whether the device really has separate profiles or allows for clear separation of saved measurements.
    • A larger number of saved measurements is beneficial for longer-term monitoring of results, but is not strictly necessary for occasional home measurements.
    • Cuff size control: always check that the supplied cuff fits the circumference of your upper arm, as too small or too large may affect the comfort of use.
    • For seniors, the absence of complicated menus, larger buttons, and screen clarity are often key to making everyday measurements easier.
    • Additional features, such as irregular heartbeat detection, should primarily be used as a guide, not as the sole basis for medical decisions.

    In practice

    🟢 Occasional home measurement

The meter meets the needs of users who want simple measurements occasionally at home, as it combines basic functions with quick use and a clear display of results.

    🟢 Daily recording of measurements

It is also suitable for regular daily use, as it offers enough memory storage to track results over a longer period.

🟡 Two people in the same household

Due to limitations in profile separation and measurement storage, there may be confusion - check if the device supports easy separation of data between users.

🟢 Use for an elderly person

The large display and basic controls make it suitable for people who want clarity and simplicity without many additional settings.

🟡 Monitoring measurements for the doctor

The amount of stored results allows for trending, but if you plan to electronically transfer measurements to an app, check compatibility as it is not always supported with this model.

    Answers to frequently asked questions

Does the meter have separate profiles for multiple users?

Some models do not have separate profiles, so it is useful to check how the device stores data for multiple people before use.

Is the display of results clear enough for visually impaired users?

The large-digit display makes it easy to read measurements, even if your eyesight is slightly impaired.

What should I do if I have a larger upper arm circumference?

Before purchasing, it is recommended to compare the stated cuff size with your upper arm circumference; if the size is too large, a separate purchase of the appropriate cuff is required.

Is the meter complicated to use?

The device is designed for quick use – usually, pressing one button is enough to start the measurement, without unnecessary settings.

Can I easily transfer the data from the meter to my doctor?

With this model, you will generally have to transcribe the data manually or show it on the screen, as a direct connection to the application is not always available.
