Looking for a top-notch tool that can handle even the most demanding tiling and stonework projects? The M14 Diamond Core Saw Set of 6 for Ceramics and Stone is an indispensable tool for any professional ceramicist, installer or demanding DIYer. This top-notch set allows for fast, precise and clean drilling of holes without chipping the material, saving you time and preventing damage to expensive materials.
Thanks to the universal M14 thread, these diamond core bits are ready for direct mounting on an angle grinder. The set also includes a special adapter that allows use on classic drills. Forget about cracking expensive tiles and inefficient drilling - with this professional set (SKU: KD11226, G65100 or M22595) you will get the job done faster, safer and with top results.

Key advantages of using diamond core saws
Using professional diamond tools brings many advantages over conventional drills. Find out why this set is indispensable for every craftsman:

Exceptional durability and speed: The high-quality 10 mm diamond coating ensures an extremely long service life and fast penetration through the hardest materials without effort.
Innovative wax cooling: Smaller diameter bits (6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm) are filled with a special cooling wax inside. This absorbs heat during drilling, melts, prevents overheating and extends the tool's service life without the need for constant wet cooling.
Versatile use in all conditions: The set is ideal for both dry and wet drilling in materials such as ceramics, ceramic tiles, clinker, granite tiles, marble and natural stone.
Universal tool compatibility: With an M14 thread, the crowns fit perfectly on any standard angle grinder. The included HEX adapter allows for easy use on classic electric or cordless drills.
Convenient and safe storage: The entire set is packed in a durable case that protects the delicate diamond tools from damage during transport and ensures that the crowns are always tidy, clean and immediately at hand.

What materials is the set suitable for?
Thanks to the aggressive diamond segment and high concentration of diamond particles, this set drills through:

Ceramic tiles and porcelain tiles (the highest hardness porcelain tiles)
Natural stone (marble, granite, slate, sandstone)
Clinker, brick and facade brick
Thin concrete slabs and other hard building materials

User tip for maximum service life: When drilling with an angle grinder, start drilling at an angle of approximately 45 degrees, then slowly and gently bring the tool to a vertical position. Use gentle, circular movements while drilling. This allows for significantly better cooling of the diamond edge, faster removal of dust and material, and significantly extends the service life of the bit.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Can I use these core saws on a regular drill?
Yes, of course! Although the core bits are primarily designed for direct mounting on angle grinders with an M14 thread, a special adapter with a hexagonal (HEX) shank is included in the kit. This adapter allows you to easily and safely mount the core bits on the head of a classic electric or cordless drill.
2. How does wax cooling work in smaller crowns?
The 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm diameter crowns are filled with a special technological wax inside. During drilling, the wax begins to melt due to friction and heat, which effectively cools the diamond segment and prevents overheating and damage to the material. Thanks to this innovative system, there is no need to use water when drilling these sizes.
3. Is it necessary to use cooling water during drilling?
The core bits are designed for dry drilling, mainly due to the high speed of angle grinders. However, to achieve maximum tool life (especially when drilling continuously into extremely hard granite or porcelain stoneware), you can occasionally use water for cooling or take short breaks during drilling to cool the diamond edge.

Instructions for using the product:
• Check the core saw, diamond coating, M14 thread and adapter before use. Do not use damaged or deformed core bits.
• Choose the appropriate diameter bit for the desired hole. The set includes bits in various sizes, including 6, 8, 10, 35 and 68 mm, and a HEX/M14 adapter.
• Screw the M14 threaded bit directly onto a compatible angle grinder. When using with a drill, attach the included adapter and clamp it into the chuck.
• Mark the exact center of the intended opening on the ceramic or stone.
• Place the bit on the surface at approximately 45° to create an initial cut. Once the bit has a stable grip on the material, gradually level it off.
• Use light circular or oscillating movements while drilling. This improves material removal and cooling of the diamond edge.
• Use moderate pressure and a steady speed. Do not force the bit through the material.
• When dry drilling, pull the core bit out of the hole after about 10-15 seconds and let it rotate for a short time without load to cool down.
• When wet drilling, ensure adequate water cooling if this is compatible with the power tool used.
• After drilling, turn off the tool and wait until the core bit has completely stopped, then remove it.

Useful tips for work:
• The crowns are intended for drilling holes in ceramics, ceramic tiles, clinker, stoneware, granite, marble and natural stone.
• The diamond layer is approximately 10 mm high.
• Smaller crowns 6, 8 and 10 mm have an internal cooling wax filling that helps limit overheating.
• Regular cooling is important when dry drilling. Excessive heating shortens the life of the diamond core bit.
• Use special caution with larger opening diameters as the forces and loads are greater.
• Before drilling an expensive or visible tile, test on a scrap piece of similar material.
• When drilling into a tile that has already been laid, check that there are no electrical cables or water pipes behind it.
• You can use a suitable guide or vacuum device to accurately start drilling.
• If the crown begins to vibrate excessively, overheat or lose efficiency, immediately reduce the pressure and check the condition of the crown.
• After use, remove any remaining material from the inside of the crown and dry it before storing.

Warnings:
• CAUTION – the diamond core bit becomes very hot during drilling. Risk of burns.
• Always switch off the power tool and disconnect it from the power source or remove the battery before changing the bit or adapter.
• Do not touch the bit immediately after drilling. Wait until it has cooled completely.
• When using an angle grinder, the crown must be properly and completely screwed onto the M14 spindle.
• Do not use a damaged, cracked or deformed crown.
• Do not exceed the maximum permitted crown speed.
• Wear safety glasses, hearing protection, protective gloves and appropriate respiratory protection when working.
• Dry drilling produces fine mineral dust. Use effective extraction or appropriate respiratory protection.
• When drilling wet, ensure that water does not come into contact with parts of the power tool that are not protected against water.
• Do not use impact mode when drilling unless the specific bit is specifically designed for impact drilling.
• Do not leave the tool unattended while it is in operation.
• Store the crown in a protected, dry place and out of the reach of children.

Same summary

The set of six M14 diamond core saws is designed for those who often have to cut harder materials such as ceramics and stone. Due to the different diameters, it is mainly suitable for DIYers and users who carry out various small or occasional tasks where precision is important. The trade-off may be less suitability for very large projects or permanent professional use, where more specialized models may make sense. The selection of diamond blades allows for more precise and clean cuts in materials where conventional saws often fail.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Are these diamond core saws suitable for all types of tiles?

The set is primarily intended for cutting ceramic and stone tiles, and the efficiency also depends on the thickness and hardness of the material itself. Very hard special materials may cause faster blade wear.

Which machines or fixtures are compatible with the M14 fixture?

The M14 clamping thread is standard for most angle grinders and similar tools, but check the suitability for your device before first use.

How often should diamond blades be replaced?

The frequency of replacement depends on the intensity of use and the type of material you are cutting. Check the blades regularly for wear and replace them when cutting becomes slow or less precise.

Is it possible to use saws for wet cutting?

Diamond core saws are usually suitable for both dry and wet cutting, but always follow the manufacturer's instructions and take into account cooling recommendations.

What to do if one of the saws starts cutting unevenly?

If you notice an uneven cut or vibrations, check the blade for wear or damage and replace or clean it if necessary. This will extend the life of the other saws in the set.
