It is important to know

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 will appeal most to demanding users looking for an innovative phone with the added functionality of a larger foldable screen. Before purchasing, it's important to consider whether you really need the experience of two devices in one (phone and mini tablet), and whether you're willing to accept the specifics of a foldable design.

• The screen is very large and clear, but closed in normal use requires getting used to due to the unusual proportions and increased thickness in your pocket.
• On the open screen, applications and multitasking are extremely comfortable, but some programs are not fully adapted to foldable devices - less optimal content display is possible.
• The value of the phone lies in its advanced technology, which means higher sensitivity to shocks and the need for more careful handling, especially due to the moving mechanism.
• Due to the two screens, battery consumption becomes more noticeable during intensive use of the open mode - you should expect to charge it more frequently compared to traditional phones.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Is the phone's bend visible or distracting during use?

The crease is visible, especially in brighter light, but most users quickly get used to it after a few days of use.

Can I use all Android apps on a split screen?

Most applications work without problems, but some are not fully adapted to the foldable format, so an adjusted display may occur.

How robust is the phone considering its foldable design?

The phone is technologically advanced, so it requires more careful handling - mainly due to the moving mechanism and larger screen area.

What is the experience like when carrying it in your pocket every day?
