It is important to know

Before you decide on the Samsung Galaxy Watch9 with 40mm case, it's crucial to consider how you'll actually use it and what features are most important to you. The biggest practical influences are phone compatibility, battery limitations, and your everyday needs in terms of size, comfort, and sports features. Be aware of the less obvious limitations that aren't highlighted by the specs themselves.

• Battery life of between 1 and 2 days means that the watch needs to be charged regularly, which can affect sleep tracking or prolonged activity without a charger.
• The 40mm case and sports band are especially suitable for smaller wrists and for those who wear the watch at night or during exercise; larger models have a larger screen.
• Very good integration and all features are available if you use the watch with a Samsung Galaxy or other Android phone; some features may be limited with other phones.
• The GPS in the watch itself supports accurate route recording without a phone, which is important for sports and outdoor activities.
• Bluetooth connectivity allows for calls and messages when the phone is nearby, while standalone calling without a phone is not supported with this version.
