REFCO VAMP-C Condensate pump
The condensate pump is intended for air conditioning users who need a practical solution for draining condensed water in rooms without the possibility of gravity drainage.
- It makes it easier to install air conditioners even where there is no existing condensate drain.
- Prevents water accumulation and the possibility of damage from spills.
- Supports regular air conditioning operation without manual tank emptying.
- Suitable for home or business use if space is needed.
REFCO VAMP-C – compact condensate drain pump
REFCO VAMP-C is a modern and compact condensate drain pump designed for installation in the corners of air conditioning ducts. It is primarily intended for quick replacement of existing pumps, as installation generally does not require changes to the existing wiring. Due to the specially designed housing, the pump is compatible with most systems, and if necessary, it can be easily adapted by trimming the housing to the available space. Installation is extremely simple - connect the pump and it is ready to use. With an additional electrical adapter, it is possible to use existing electrical connections. A flexible angle pipe with a filter and a built-in tank is also included, which allows installation without using tools. With a noise level of less than 18 dB(A), it operates extremely quietly, making it suitable for rooms where low noise levels are important, such as offices, hotels, apartments, doctors' surgeries and server rooms. The optical sensor enables precise water level detection, ensuring reliable operation with minimal maintenance. The powerful diaphragm pump efficiently drains condensate even from air conditioners with a power of up to 18.5 kW (63,000 BTU/h). The housing is made of non-flammable biopolymer FR-4 of plant origin, which ensures high durability and safety and at the same time effectively dampens vibrations. The pump complies with the standards IEC 60335-1, IEC 60335-2-41 and RoHS. It is made in Switzerland, which ensures a high level of quality, precision and reliability.Technical data:

It is important to know
When choosing a condensate pump, such as the REFCO VAMP-C, it is important to assess whether its capabilities and solution actually match the spatial and technical conditions of your air conditioning system. Before purchasing, it is worthwhile to consider in particular the condensate drainage method, volume and installation options, as these are key items that are not always obvious from the specification itself.
- The effectiveness of the condensation solution depends on the amount of water produced - if the expected amount of condensation is large (e.g. larger air conditioning system, intensive use), make sure that the pump capacity is sufficient.
- Installation flexibility is important: in some locations, the installation of an additional pump is limited by accessibility or space constraints around the air conditioner.
- Carefully check how the pump fits into the existing installation – installation is much easier if the connections are properly compatible and adapted to your system.
- If you are choosing a pump as an upgrade to an existing solution, consider easy maintenance options so that subsequent cleaning and inspections are not time-consuming.

In practice
🟢 Condensation drainage where there is no natural drainage
The product is particularly suitable for cases where water drainage by gravity is not possible - the pump allows you to easily bridge height differences or longer paths to the drain.
🟡 Suitable as an upgrade to an existing air conditioner
As an additional device for arranging condensate drainage, the pump is useful, but the final efficiency largely depends on how well it can be integrated into the existing installation and spatial conditions.
🟡 Use for intensive cooling/larger volumes
The product is also useful for larger units or with larger amounts of condensate, but before purchasing, you should check whether the pump capacity is truly appropriate for your case.
🔴 Installation without prior compatibility check
A condensate pump is not always universal – incorrect selection or installation can cause problems if the connections, dimensions or design do not match the existing device.
Answers to frequently asked questions
Is this pump suitable for all air conditioners?
Suitability depends on connection method and required capacity; please check compatibility with your model before purchasing.
Is the assembly complicated?
It is easier if the wiring is easy to access and the connections are suitable; sometimes it is advisable to consult a specialist beforehand.
What does it mean if condensation drainage is difficult?
When there is no natural drain, the pump enables forced lifting or pushing of water to the drain, which solves problems with standing water under the air conditioner.
How often is maintenance required?
It is recommended to periodically check and, if necessary, clean the pump parts to prevent clogging and ensure smooth operation.
