1400W vacuum-powered rotary concrete and stone grinder 125mm (PM-SDB-1400T)
Are you planning a home renovation, leveling concrete floors or removing stubborn adhesive residues and old coatings? The 1400W 125mm Vacuum Rotary Concrete and Stone Grinder (model PM-SDB-1400T) is a top-of-the-line tool designed for efficient, precise and clean preparation of surfaces before further construction or craft work. With a powerful electric motor, adjustable speed range and innovative edge system, this device is an indispensable choice for any demanding user.
This compact and ergonomic concrete grinder makes it easy to smooth uneven surfaces, treat screed, plaster and remove dried layers of paint and tile or carpet adhesives. Thanks to the option of connecting to an external dust extraction system, you will get the job done faster, more precisely and in a significantly cleaner working environment.

Detailed presentation of operation and use
Exceptional 1400 W power for demanding renovations
The core of the grinder is a reliable 1400 W brush motor that easily copes with high loads during dry grinding. With it, you can effortlessly level uneven concrete slabs, remove remnants of old ceramic tile or carpet adhesive, and prepare the screed for laying new floor coverings. The power of the device ensures stable operation even with greater pressures on the substrate.
Full control with variable speed (2300-8000 rpm)
Different materials require different processing speeds. With the practical rotary knob, you can adjust the disc speed precisely to the task at hand. Lower speeds are ideal for more delicate surfaces or removing softer coatings where too high a speed would clog the disc, while higher speeds are designed for rapid material removal from hard concrete or stone.
Smooth sanding right up to walls and edges
One of the biggest challenges in floor renovation is working on areas right next to walls, corners and pipes. The grinder is equipped with a special sliding segment on the protective cover. With a single movement, you can unfold the segment and reach the surface right up to the edge of the wall with the grinding disc, saving you valuable time and effort with manual processing.
Clean working environment with external extraction
Dry grinding of concrete and plaster releases large amounts of fine dust, which can be harmful to health and contaminate the entire construction site. The grinder has a built-in dedicated extraction connection with an adapter that can be easily connected to a suitable external vacuum cleaner (use of a class M vacuum cleaner for construction dust is recommended). The brush ring on the edges of the protective cover prevents dust particles from escaping into the surrounding area.
Versatile use on various surfaces
It is intended for a wide range of work in home renovation or professional construction sites:

Leveling and smoothing of concrete surfaces, screeds and plasters.
Removing residues of dried adhesives, epoxy coatings and paints.
Processing of plasterboard walls and smoothing of formwork joints.
Grinding stone, metal and wood using suitable dedicated discs with a diameter of 125 mm.

Instructions for safe and effective use
For best results, we recommend using the sander with both hands using the adjustable side handle. When sanding, use even and moderate pressure and guide the tool smoothly over the surface to be sanded. Only use 125 mm diameter sanding attachments that are designed for dry work and can withstand the specified speed of the sander. The tool is not intended for wet sanding or cutting.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Does the sander include a dust collection bag?
No, the device does not have a built-in dust bag. Due to the large amounts of fine dust generated when grinding concrete and stone, the grinder is designed to be connected to an external industrial vacuum cleaner (recommended class M) via the supplied adapter.
Is this grinder suitable for wet grinding or cutting?
No. The PM-SDB-1400T sander is intended for dry sanding and surface finishing only. It is not suitable for wet sanding using water, cutting materials, polishing or using wire brushes.
How does the sliding guard for sanding against a wall work?
The sliding segment on the protective cover allows you to simply slide the front part of the cover back. This frees up direct access for the grinding disc to the very edge of the wall, floor or pipe, making it easier to work on corners thoroughly.

Instructions for using the product:
• Installing the diamond grinding wheel: Before starting work, be sure to disconnect the grinder from the power supply. Press the spindle lock button, unscrew the fastening nut with the supplied wrench, install the 125 mm diamond cup wheel on the spindle and tighten the nut securely.
• Connecting a dust extractor: Firmly connect the hose of an industrial vacuum cleaner to the extraction outlet on the grinder's protective cover to ensure effective collection of hazardous concrete dust during work.
• Connecting to the mains: Check that the mains voltage meets the requirements of the device (230V), and connect the power cable to a grounded wall socket.
• Setting the speed: Before starting, use the electronic speed regulator (wheel) to select the appropriate speed in the range from 2300 to 8000 rpm depending on the hardness of the material and the type of processing.
• Starting and grinding: Hold the grinder with both hands by the handles, place the disc against the surface, turn on the switch and guide the machine over the concrete surface with steady movements.

Useful tips for work:
• Powerful 1400W motor for hard materials: The high motor power enables continuous and efficient grinding of hard concrete, granite, stone or screed without loss of power under pressure.
• Integrated extraction system for clean work: The cleverly designed protective cover with brush ring allows for the connection of a vacuum cleaner, which drastically reduces the amount of dust in the air and improves visibility of the work surface.
• Electronic speed control (2300–8000 rpm): Adjustable speed allows precise adjustment of the tool for rough material removal or finer surface finishing.
• Ergonomic handle for safe control: The comfortable arc-shaped handle or side handle provides a firm grip and reduces hand fatigue when sanding floors or walls for long periods of time.
• Optimized diameter of 125 mm: The standard diamond cup size allows easy access to edges and corners and wide availability of replacement discs on the market.

Warnings:
Grinding concrete and stone creates extremely dangerous silica dust that can seriously damage your lungs. Always use a suitable industrial vacuum cleaner and a suitable protective mask. Also, do not touch the hot diamond blade after work!
• Mandatory use of personal protective equipment: When working with a grinder, it is mandatory to wear safety glasses, a certified dust mask (FMP2 or FMP3), hearing protection and strong work gloves.
• Regularly check the condition of the diamond cup: Before each use, inspect the diamond segments of the disc; replace damaged or cracked discs immediately to prevent the risk of broken pieces.
• Safe guidance and a firm grip with both hands: Always hold the machine firmly with both hands, as contact with reinforcing steel in the concrete can cause a strong kickback.
• Maintenance and cleaning of air vents: Clean the motor vents regularly to prevent the accumulation of fine concrete dust and overheating of the 1400W motor.
• Store out of reach of small children: Store heavy power tools in a dry place out of reach of children.

It is important to know

Before choosing, it is crucial that your main task is grinding concrete or stone, as this is a dedicated type of grinder, not a universal tool for different materials. When making a decision, also consider the size of the processed surface and check whether the method of connecting the dust extraction is suitable for you.

  • The product data does not confirm suitability for fine finishing of wood, varnish or painted surfaces; therefore, do not select it for such tasks without further confirmation.
  • A 125 mm diameter disc may be less effective on larger surfaces, as processing generally requires more passes.
  • The dust extraction specification does not in itself indicate which vacuum cleaners or attachments are compatible. If you already have extraction equipment, check the type of attachment before purchasing.

In practice

🟢 Concrete and stone grinding

Very suitable – the purpose of the grinder is explicitly related to the processing of these materials, so it fits the basic task.

🟡 Processing of larger surfaces

Suitable with limitations – a 125mm diameter disc means that multiple passes may be required to cover a larger area.

🔴 Fine sanding of wood or varnish

Less suitable – the product is specified for concrete and stone, but the data does not confirm its suitability for fine finishing of wood or varnished surfaces.
