It is important to know

This portable monitor makes sense especially for users who need an additional work surface on the go or at home when a traditional monitor is not available. The choice suits those who value mobility and easy connectivity, but must be careful about the compromise between size, ergonomics and more demanding tasks.

• The portable design makes it easy to use as an additional display, but the reduced diagonal may limit visibility and multitasking compared to conventional monitors over 20".
• The smaller work area and resolution are more suitable for basic office work, web browsing, and video meetings, but less so for more advanced design or analytical tasks.
• Connectivity is often based on USB-C or HDMI, so it's crucial to check whether your laptop or device supports video output on your chosen interface before purchasing.
• For prolonged use, users should pay attention to ergonomic positioning, as portable monitors usually do not offer height adjustment or a classic stand.
• Monitors of this type are most useful as an additional screen for a laptop on the go, in a hotel, home office, or as a temporary solution for more desk space.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Is the ARZOPA Z1C suitable as a main monitor for everyday work?

It is more recommended as an additional screen or for temporary use, as the smaller diagonal and ergonomics limit prolonged, intensive use as a main monitor.

What should I check before connecting to a laptop?

Before purchasing, check if your laptop supports video output on USB-C or HDMI, as the monitor does not provide universal connectivity across all devices.

Is it suitable for graphic design or professional video editing?

A monitor of this type is not intended for professional design tasks or work where high resolution and color accuracy are key.

Can I also use this monitor with a smartphone?

This is only possible if your phone supports image output via USB-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode); if it doesn't, the connection won't work.

How do I ensure ergonomics when using at a desk?

It is recommended to additionally raise or prop up the monitor, as most portable models do not have adjustable height or a quality stand.
