It is important to know

Before purchasing the Poly Blackwire 3220 Stereo USB-C Headset with USB-C/USB-A Adapter, it's crucial to consider how a wired headset fits your usage pattern—especially if you're looking for a simple solution for work or calls on your computer. It's important to understand the limitations of mobility and the situations where you prefer wired or wireless connectivity.

• A wired connection provides stable and flawless audio transmission without delays, which is important for video calls and virtual meetings - but it limits freedom of movement in space.
• The USB-C to USB-A adapter makes it easier to use with different devices, but the flexibility is not complete: it is not a suitable solution for mobile devices without a corresponding input or for completely wireless use.
• The built-in microphone and stereo design are primarily intended for clear spoken communication and listening to content for extended periods of time, but in very noisy environments (e.g., an open office or public transportation), limitations in external noise attenuation may occur.

In practice

🟢 Work and video calls on your computer

A stable wired connection via USB allows for reliable use for business video calls and working from home, without worrying about interruptions or a dead battery.

🟡 Everyday use for listening to music

High-quality stereo sound is suitable for relaxed listening to music, but due to the wired connection, they are not the most convenient for use on the go or during major physical activities.

🔴 Active movement and sports

The wired design and over-ear shape are not suitable for sports activities or running, as the cable can interfere with the user experience when moving.

🟡 Travel and use in noisy environments

The headphones are not equipped with active noise cancellation, so they are only conditionally suitable for longer trips by plane or train, where there is more noise.

🟡 Gaming and long hours of playing

Due to the wired connection and comfortable cushions, they are useful for games or prolonged sitting at the computer, however, they are not designed as specialized "gaming" headphones with advanced features.
