Same summary

The Digitus DN-95104-1 PoE power supply is suitable for powering one or more IP cameras, wireless access points or VoIP phones in small and medium-sized business networks or advanced home setups. Thanks to support for the IEEE 802.3bt standard and a total power of 60 W, it allows powering devices with higher consumption where a PoE switch is not absolutely necessary. Due to the limited number of ports and output power, it is less suitable for larger network systems with many devices or where advanced network management is required. Additional short-circuit protection offers greater reliability for continuous use in more sensitive environments.

User view

This PoE power supply is most commonly used by small business network administrators, IT enthusiasts, and home users who want to easily power their IP camera or wireless access point without the need for additional cables or complex installations. It is also practical for gamers and computer enthusiasts who set up a separate network for multiple devices where they like a tidy environment and reliable connectivity.

Users often trust Digitus brand products due to their good balance of security and long-term stability in the networking equipment segment.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Which devices is this PoE power supply suitable for?

It is suitable for devices that support PoE standards IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at or 802.3bt, such as IP cameras, wireless access points and VoIP phones in smaller networks.

Can I use this power adapter for multiple devices at the same time?

Yes, it allows powering multiple devices simultaneously, as long as the total consumption does not exceed 60 W and all devices are compliant with the enabled PoE standards.

What does short circuit protection mean on this model?

Built-in short-circuit protection helps prevent damage to the power supply or connected devices in the event of an unexpected electrical fault.

Is using the power adapter complicated for home users?

Installation is usually simple, requiring only connecting an Ethernet cable between the device and the power supply, so the solution is suitable even for less experienced users.

Do I need a PoE switch or is this power supply sufficient?

If you have a small number of devices and don't need additional network management, a power supply of this type is sufficient. For larger networks or advanced configurations, consider a dedicated PoE switch.
