Philips TAH4000BK/00 are a great choice for listening to music, watching movies and everyday phone calls. With long battery life, high-quality sound, comfortable fit and replaceable wearing parts, they are reliable headphones for long-term use.

It is important to know

Philips TAH4000BK/00 are on-ear wireless headphones designed primarily for extended office or everyday use. They will be most appreciated by those looking for a balance between comfort, very long battery life, and uncomplicated wireless connection. Before buying, pay attention to the fit of on-ear models and consider whether you are satisfied with the sound and isolation that these headphones offer.

• On-ear fit may be less comfortable for longer hours of wear for more sensitive users, as they press directly on the ears — test the fit if you will be using the headphones continuously for several hours.
• The long autonomy of 70 hours really doesn't need to be charged every day, but be careful whether the charging time suits your habits ( fast charging is not mentioned ).
• Office use is comfortable thanks to the uncomplicated Bluetooth connection and management, but in louder environments, the passive sound isolation of the on-ear headphones can be somewhat limiting.
• The headphones are not intended for sports use or very intense exercise, as they do not have increased resistance to moisture, sweat, or vibrations.
• For frequent switching between multiple devices (e.g. phone and computer at the same time), check if basic connectivity without advanced features like multipoint connection is sufficient.

In practice

💻 Work and video calls

🟢 Suitable for office work, conversations and video meetings in usually quiet or moderately noisy environments — simple wireless connection, but no microphone with advanced noise filtering.

🏠 Home use

🟢 Very comfortable for everyday listening to music, podcasts or watching movies — long battery life means less worry about charging.

✈️ Travel

🟡 Good for bus or train rides, but when used in very loud environments, the effectiveness of passive isolation is not comparable to over-ear or ANC headphones.

🎮 Gaming

🟡 Connection is possible via Bluetooth, but due to the usual latency, they are not an ideal choice for competitive games where image and sound synchronization is important.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Can I connect the headphones to my phone and computer at the same time?

The wireless connection allows switching between devices, but multipoint connection is not confirmed for simultaneous connection.

Are these headphones suitable for long meetings or hours of wearing?

The on-ear design with foam cushions is suitable for most people for several hours of use, but those with more sensitive ears may feel pressure on their ears with prolonged use.

How resistant are they to sweat and moisture?

The headphones are not sweat-proof or suitable for sports use — they are more suitable for indoor or quiet environments.

How do they perform in very noisy environments?

Passive noise isolation is basic, so in very loud environments some external noise can penetrate — they are not comparable to ANC models.

Is it possible to use the headphones while charging?

Use while charging is not confirmed — we recommend checking the battery status before extended use.
