It is important to know

Philips GC026/80 is a convenient lint and lint remover, which with its battery-powered design is designed for easy use at home or on the go. The device is best suited for those who want to quickly refresh clothes, textiles or upholstered furniture, and who especially appreciate portability and easy maintenance. Before buying, it is worth considering which surfaces you will use it for most often and how often you will need it.

• Battery power ensures mobility, but means regular battery replacement – not the most practical for long-term cleaning of larger areas.
• The compact size of the head is convenient for clothing and smaller textiles, and for very large areas or frequent use, the tank can be filled more quickly.
• Easy emptying of the container takes less time, which is especially convenient in households with pets or several small cleanings in a row.
• On delicate fabrics (e.g. wool, cashmere), we recommend caution and a preliminary test on a less noticeable area, as there is no blade height adjustment or protective cap.

In practice

🧥 Home use on clothes

🟢 Quick to remove lint and fibers from t-shirts, sweaters and other clothing - especially handy for a quick refresh before use.

🐾 Households with pets

🟡 Capable of occasionally removing hair and fibers from textiles, but with regular use on larger surfaces, the collector will need to be emptied more often.

🛋️ Upholstered furniture cleaning

🟡 Practical for smaller seat or headrests, but slower for larger sofas due to the size of the head and battery power.

✈️ Use on the go

🟢 An ideal mobile solution for travelers, allowing you to quickly clean clothes in hotels or cars without having to search for an electrical outlet.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Does the remover work safely on wool or delicate fabrics?

We recommend caution with delicate fabrics - the device does not have a special protective attachment or the ability to adjust the height of the blades, so test on a smaller, hidden area first.

How often should the lint and lint collector be emptied?

When cleaning larger or dirtier surfaces (e.g. a sofa or sweaters with lots of lint), it is recommended to empty the container after each major cleaning.

What to do if the batteries run out during use?

The device is battery-powered, so we always recommend having extra batteries on hand, especially when traveling or using it frequently.
