The dispenser is ONLY suitable for dry food, with a briquette size less than 12 mm (0.47 inches) in diameter and freeze-dried food less than 9 mm (0.35 inches).

How often should I set up an automatic cat feeder?

For adult cats, 2 to 4 meals per day are recommended, while kittens typically need 3 to 5 meals, spread evenly throughout the day. The ideal frequency will depend on your cat’s age, weight and activity level, but it’s generally best to offer smaller, more frequent meals as they mimic their natural eating habits. Adult cats often get by with two meals (morning and evening), while kittens benefit from more frequent feedings to support healthy growth.

Can the dispenser run on batteries without a power outlet?

To prevent sudden power outages from affecting your pet's feeding, avoid relying on batteries as the sole power source for the feeder. Batteries are intended for emergency use only. When the feeder is powered solely by batteries, the camera will automatically turn off to extend the operating time while scheduled meals are delivered as normal.

Will it still give food when it is turned off?

Yes. The feeder will still dispense food according to the set feeding schedule.

Will it still provide food if there is a power outage?

Yes! It supports battery operation. After installing four D batteries, the feeder will still dispense food according to the set feeding schedule in the event of a power outage. Please note that spare batteries must be purchased separately.

Is it possible for pets to shake the dispenser to access more food?
