It is important to know

When choosing an adhesive tape like Paperblanks Bindweed Fairy, Washi tape, it is crucial to consider the specific purpose in your business environment. While design and visual impact play an important role, for office or creative use, it is important to assess in advance whether the tape provides the necessary functionality. It is possible to overlook limitations in terms of durability or range of use compared to more standard adhesive tapes.

• Washi tapes are usually better suited for visual labeling, decoration, and organization than for permanent or heavier packaging applications.
• The non-transparency and printability of the tape allow for effective visual separation in documentation or creative projects, increasing transparency in work processes.
• For use on larger or heavier packages, regular washi tape may not offer sufficient strength or durability compared to classic packaging tapes.
• For repeated gluing or temporary markings, the advantage is that the tape generally leaves no residue and allows for cleaner removal from paper or cardboard.

In practice

🟢 Tags and visual organization of documents

The product is very suitable for temporary or long-term marking of folders, documents or creating visual order in the office, as it stands out clearly and can be easily removed from paper substrates.

🟡 Use in packaging lighter shipments

The tape may be suitable with limitations for lighter packaging or personal gifts where aesthetics play an important role, but it is not designed for the demanding sealing of heavy packages.

🔴 Permanent package insurance for logistics needs

Less suitable for securing larger shipments or packages, as washi tape usually does not offer the same bonding strength as dedicated packaging tapes.

🟢 Use in creative projects and editing presentations

Very suitable for creative presentations, project work or creating visual boards, as it allows for an aesthetic addition and easy handling without damaging the substrate.
