Same summary

The original Samsung AKG EO-IC100BWE headphones are suitable primarily for users who want reliable wired headphones with a USB-C connector for everyday mobile use on Samsung devices, especially the Galaxy Note 10 series. They feature an in-ear design for a good fit and a high-quality microphone for calls and interaction, which is important for work and conversations on the go.

They provide minimal latency due to their wired connection, which is also practical when watching videos and playing content on your phone, but they are not suitable for users who expect features such as wireless connectivity or active noise cancellation. Connectivity is limited to USB-C, so they are not compatible with all devices without this connector.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Are these headphones compatible with phones other than the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus?

The headphones work with devices with a USB-C port where audio is enabled through this port, but they work best with select Samsung phones. Some third-party phones may not support audio over USB-C, so please check your device's compatibility information before purchasing.

What does it mean that headphones are “In-ear” and who is this type suitable for?

In-ear headphones sit directly in the ear canal, allowing for greater passive isolation of ambient sound. This type of headphone is suitable for use in urban environments, on the bus or at work, where you want fewer distractions - but will be less suitable for those who are bothered by the sensation in their ears.

Does the microphone allow clear communication during calls?

The built-in microphone is designed for casual conversations, video meetings, and voice assistant use. For professional needs that require advanced noise filtering, dedicated headsets with a directional microphone are recommended.

How are these wired headphones different from wireless models?

The main difference is that wired headphones provide more stable audio transmission without lag and do not require charging. On the other hand, users of wireless models appreciate the freedom of movement without a cable and additional features such as active noise cancellation. You can find more practical comparisons in our headphone selection guide .

Are extra earplugs of different sizes included?

Most original Samsung headphones include multiple sizes of ear tips to accommodate different ears, but we advise you to check what is actually included with the kit when purchasing.
