It is important to know

The Mamibot iGLASSBOT W120-DP 2in1 is a robotic window cleaner that is best suited to users who have larger glass surfaces at home or windows that are difficult to reach and want to eliminate manual cleaning. Before purchasing, it is important to consider the type and number of windows, frequency of use, and practical aspects such as operating time and the possibility of additional attachments. With such devices, it is important to expect realistic results in terms of stubborn dirt and to make sure that maintenance is easy.

For cleaning very large or high-mounted windows, check whether suitable accessories (e.g. extensions) are available, as the robot cleaner alone cannot reach all special surfaces.
Maneuvering can be a bit slower with divided or smaller windows; optimal efficiency is achieved with larger, continuous glass surfaces.
Using an autonomous cleaner does not eliminate the need for manual pre-treatment if there are stubborn stains or dried-on dirt on the windows.
The AUTO water spray option allows for more even cleaning, but it is necessary to regularly monitor the water level and fill or clean the tank in a timely manner.

In practice

🏠 Home use

🟢 Suitable for regular cleaning of most classic windows, glass doors and shower enclosures, reducing the need for manual labor.

🌇 Cleaning large glass surfaces

🟢 Effective on panoramic windows, winter gardens or shop windows, but it is advisable to check the length of the power cable or the possibility of accessories for accessibility.

🧼 Quick cleaning of a small number of windows

🟡 It also works on smaller windows, but the process may be slower due to gradual navigation around edges and barriers.

🏡 Hard-to-reach or high windows

🟡 A robotic cleaner reduces the need for a ladder or manual reach, but practicality is limited if the appropriate accessory for very high windows is not included.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Can the cleaner remove old dried-on stains from glass?

To remove very dried-on or stubborn dirt, we recommend pre-soaking or cleaning by hand, as the robotic cleaner works best with regular maintenance and fresh stains.

What happens if I run out of spray water during cleaning?

The device will not be able to clean the surface optimally; therefore, it is recommended to check the water tank regularly and fill it with water in a timely manner.

Is the cleaner also suitable for very small or narrow windows?

It works for this purpose, but can be slower and slightly less accurate on highly divided or smaller glass surfaces.

Does the device also work on vertical or slightly inclined surfaces?

The cleaner is designed for vertical and most standard inclined glass surfaces, but should not be used on heavily inclined or non-standardly positioned glass without prior safety checks.

How often should cloths and attachments be cleaned or replaced?

It is recommended to regularly clean the cloths after each use and replace them when you notice poorer absorbency or larger marks on the glass.
