It is important to know

When choosing a wireless gaming headset like the Logitech G522 LIGHTSPEED, it's important to consider long-term comfort and practical connectivity. Over-ear gaming headsets offer certain advantages for long-term use at home and while gaming, but they can be less suitable for mobility or quick transfers between activities. The right decision depends on how much you value comfort, ease of use, and whether you plan to use them in other environments outside of gaming.

• The over-ear design provides comfort for extended gaming, but they are less often chosen for everyday mobile use or sports activities.
• Wireless connectivity means greater freedom of movement – check that supported devices allow for hassle-free wireless use.
• Gaming headsets are designed for minimal latency and stable transmission - they may vary in compatibility with certain devices (e.g. mobile phones or consoles).
• If you also want to use the headset for calls or work, check that the microphone and settings meet your needs in an office environment.

In practice

🟢 Hours of gaming

The over-ear design and wireless connection make these headphones very suitable for long gaming sessions on a computer or console.

🟡 Phone calls and work

Suitable with limitations – the built-in microphone allows for calls and video conferencing, but the bulky model is not the most comfortable to wear all day during calls, nor is it always optimal for mobile work.

🟡 Travel and mobile use

Suitable with limitations – comfort remains high, but the larger size makes it less practical for carrying or using on the go.

🔴 Sports and exercise

Less suitable – over-ear gaming headphones are not designed for movement or exercise, where stability and breathability are key.
