It is important to know

When choosing a Leitz WOW A4 clipboard folder, it is crucial to consider how often and in what circumstances you will use, transport and present documents. An important practice in business use is the combination of visual organization, document protection and the practical mobility that this type of folder allows. Before making a decision, pay attention to what advantages and potential limitations the clipboard brings to your daily work organization.

• The Clipboard folder is best suited for short-term storage, transfer, and quick use of individual documents or smaller sets - but is not designed for long-term archiving of extensive documentation.
• The strength and rigidity provide good protection against creasing and damage to the sheets during transport – but it is not suitable where a completely closed cover is required.
• The color element (purple) can be useful in color-coding projects or departments, but it makes sense to use colors in a pre-thought-out scheme so as not to create additional opacity in the archive.

In practice

🟢 Transfer documents to meetings

The clipboard with a solid base and metal clip allows for an orderly, transparent transfer of documents, which is especially useful for quick preparation at meetings or in the field.

🟡 Preparing presentations or handouts

Suitable for handing out or reviewing individual documents, but due to its open design, it is not intended for more formal presentations where protection from views or weather conditions is more important.

🟡 Document protection in everyday use

It protects well against jamming and damage during short-term storage, but is not optimized for archiving or long-term storage of large amounts of documentation.

🟢 Color coding of documents

The highlighted color allows for quick visual identification of a project or task in shared office spaces.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Is this folder suitable for transferring multiple documents at once?

The folder is designed primarily for a smaller number of documents; we recommend dividing larger sets into multiple folders for stability and clarity.

Can I safely write in this folder without additional backing?

Yes, the clipboard's hard base provides stability for writing even in the field or without a desk.

Is the metal clip strong enough for thicker documents?

A staple usually holds a few dozen sheets of standard thickness, but with very thick sets it may reduce the firmness of the hold.

Is the color of the folder durable in everyday use?

The surface of the folder is varnished and resistant to most common mechanical influences, but the color may fade after a long time if subjected to heavy wear.
