It is important to know

Before choosing a water filtration pitcher, it's crucial to consider your usage habits and the number of users in your household. Filter pitchers vary primarily in capacity and refill speed, so choose a model that meets your real needs, not just the apparent specifications. Certain features of a pitcher can be easily overlooked, but they have a significant impact on your everyday experience.

• The total volume of the jug does not mean that much water is ready to drink at once - special attention should be paid to the actual amount of filtered water that you can pour without refilling.
• For an individual or a smaller household, a jug with a capacity of up to 2.5 l is usually more practical, as it takes up less space and is easier to handle, but requires more frequent refilling for multiple users.
• With regular use, it is important that changing the filter is easy and that replacement filters are readily available, as improper maintenance quickly affects the performance and taste of the water.
• The material (e.g. plastic) affects the weight and feel when handling. For frequent carrying or use in smaller kitchens, lower weight can be an advantage.

In practice

🟢 Daily preparation of drinking water for an individual or a couple

Very convenient - the volume of the jug allows you to easily cover the needs of an individual or a couple without taking up excess space and complicated handling.

🟡 Supplying a small family with filtered water

Suitable with limitations - the total capacity may be enough for a family if needs are moderate, but otherwise you should expect to refill more frequently.

🟡 Increased water consumption in the office or shared use

Suitable with limitations – for multiple users, the amount of filtered water at once may be limiting, which means more frequent refilling of the jug and a little more attention when using it.

🟢 Improving the taste of tap water

Very convenient – filter pitchers are specifically designed to improve the taste and smell of water, which is important for everyday drinking and preparing beverages.

🟡 Reducing limescale for household appliances

Suitable with limitations – you can use filtered water for appliances, but due to the limited volume, this is only practical for individual preparations, not for larger quantities at once.

Answers to frequently asked questions

How much filtered water can I make at once?

The actual amount of filtered water is determined by the internal filter cartridge; the amount of water that can be prepared is the amount of filtered water volume specified in the specifications.

Are replacement filters for this pitcher easily available?

Changing the filter is a normal part of maintenance and replacement filters for this model are available from most filtration equipment providers.

How often is it recommended to change the filter?

The filter replacement interval depends on usage, but it is generally recommended to replace at least every four weeks or according to a noticeable change in taste/flow.

Is the jug suitable for use in smaller kitchens?

The compact design of the jug with a moderate volume is suitable for smaller kitchens when saving space is important.
