The A4 document folder contains 12 sections with the option of labeling for better document organization. The plastic buckle with elastic allows us to store documents safely. The folder is resistant to water and dirt.

It is important to know

Before choosing a Herlitz A4 folder, matte blue, it is important to consider how it will fit into your existing document organization and what functional requirements your workflow has. The most important thing is that the selected folder type actually fits the intended use and provides adequate protection, transparency, and practical use in an office environment.

• When using it on the go or transporting documents between locations, pay attention to whether the closure method effectively reduces the chance of documents slipping or being lost.
• Harder folder materials typically provide longer life with frequent use, but may limit the speed of inserting and retrieving individual sheets.
• Color-coding folders, like the blue version, can make it easier to visually organize documents, but its value is greatest when the color logic is applied consistently across the company.
• For long-term and transparent archiving of a large amount of documentation, in addition to choosing an individual folder, it is also recommended to consider the storage system and the combination of different types of folders.

In practice

🟢 Archiving in cabinets

The A4 folder with basic protection is suitable for archiving documents in cabinets or drawers where direct access and easy sorting are important.

🟢 Short-term storage or delivery of documents

Due to its convenient size and basic protection, it is very suitable for quickly storing individual documents or preparing materials for colleagues.

🟢 Color coding by projects

The color design allows for use in an internal color coding system, where blue helps separate documentation by department, project or priority.

🟡 Transfer to meetings

The folder allows you to transfer documents, but if it does not have an additional closing mechanism, it is recommended to be aware of the possibility of the contents falling out if there are a large number of sheets or if you move it frequently.

🔴 Long-term storage of large amounts of documents

It is less suitable for extensive archiving or frequent browsing of a large number of documents, as it offers basic protection and limited flexibility in sorting larger sets.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Is the folder suitable for frequent transfer between locations?

The folder is useful for occasional carrying, but if you have a large number of documents, make sure it has a proper closure that prevents the contents from falling out.

How does it work for archiving a large amount of documents?

Due to its basic volume and construction, it is more suitable for individual documents or smaller sets, but for larger archives we recommend using multiple folders or other solutions.

Does the color of a folder actually affect office organization?

Color coding, such as blue, is especially useful if there is a systematic use of colors in the organization to classify documentation.
