Answers to frequently asked questions

Can I use Govee string lights in the rain or snow?

Yes, these lights have a high level of protection IP67, which means they are suitable for outdoor use even in bad weather and are resistant to moisture and dust.

What do I need for smart lighting control?

For smart control, you need a powerful WiFi connection and the Govee app, through which you can change colors, intensity, and set lighting timers.

Are they also suitable for lighting larger outdoor areas?

The 1200 lumens of brightness are suitable for creating a pleasant atmosphere on a terrace, gazebo or around a swimming pool. For fully functional lighting of a larger yard, we recommend combining with even more powerful spotlights.

How long are these string lights and can I connect several together?

The most common length is sufficient to decorate an average terrace or fence. If you want to illuminate a larger area, check the possibility of connecting or purchasing additional sets of the same model.

Do the colors and programs work without the app?

Basic functions and some color programs are usually available via the included remote control, but for the full experience and additional settings, using the Govee app is recommended.
