Same summary

GOOBAY PowerBank 8.0 with solar panels with a capacity of 8000 mAh combines the functionality of a portable battery and a flashlight, which is especially useful on the road, trips or where access to an electrical outlet is not guaranteed. Due to its slightly smaller capacity, it is most convenient for shorter or one-day charging of a phone, headphones or smartwatch, but is less suitable for simultaneously charging a larger tablet or laptop or for long-term use without recharging. The additional solar panel allows for partial self-sufficiency, however, users should note that solar charging is slower and more suitable as a backup in emergencies. The compact design allows for easy carrying and use, especially during outdoor activities such as hiking, camping or traveling.

Answers to frequently asked questions

How fast does the GOOBAY PowerBank 8.0 charge via solar cells?

Solar charging is slow and is recommended mostly as an additional emergency power source; long-term exposure to sunlight and favorable lighting conditions are required to fully charge the battery.

Can I also charge a tablet or other larger devices with the device?

A power bank is best suited for phones, headphones, and similar smaller devices; charging a larger tablet or laptop is not optimal due to limited output power and capacity.

Is this product suitable for recharging a phone multiple times on a long trip?

For shorter or one-day trips, it allows for at least one to two charges of a typical phone, but for longer trips or charging multiple devices, we recommend considering models with a higher capacity.

How water or dust resistant is the power bank?

GOOBAY PowerBank 8.0 is not designed as a waterproof or dustproof product, so it is recommended to use it in a dry environment and protect it from direct contact with water.

Does the built-in lamp provide enough light for use in a tent?

The flashlight on the device provides basic orientation lighting, which is sufficient for use in a tent or as a backup light source outdoors.
