The Goobay Nano 45W USB-C PD GaN phone charger is a compact and lightweight mains charger designed to efficiently charge modern electronic devices via a USB-C port. Thanks to advanced GaN (gallium nitride) technology, it enables high output power in an extremely small package, which is practical for use both at home and on the go.

This model addresses the needs of users who want to quickly and reliably charge phones, tablets or even some laptops - wherever compatibility with Power Delivery and Quick Charge functions is important. Connection is possible to a wide voltage range (110-240 V), which allows universal use in Slovenian and foreign sockets without the need for additional adapters.

Key product features

⚖️ Compare features with other products of your choice

Compact dimensions and low weight allow you to easily carry the charger in your pocket or bag. Despite its minimalist design, it offers a high output power of 45W, which means it can effectively charge even more energy-intensive devices - e.g. laptops with USB-C power, in addition to phones and tablets. This practically allows one charger for multiple devices and reduces the need to repeatedly search for different adapters.

The charger uses advanced GaN technology, which allows it to operate at higher power without overheating and allows for faster charging with less energy loss. Since it supports the USB Power Delivery and Quick Charge standards, a modern mobile or portable device can receive optimal fast charging that automatically adapts to the needs of your device - so there is no need to worry about the charger working too slowly or being incompatible.

While a single USB-C port limits charging to one device at a time, it also ensures the best possible performance for the connected device. The included cable is not included, allowing you to choose your own cable based on your specific needs or length.

With its white color and neutral design, the Goobay Nano is easily compatible with a variety of devices and spaces - from the home environment to the office or student room. The practical universality with a globally compatible input means it is also suitable for traveling around the world.

It is important to know

Before purchasing this charger, it's crucial to understand what devices and scenarios it's best suited for, and what practical tradeoffs it makes. While 45W of power and USB-C PD support make for very fast and universal charging, you should be aware of how the single-port limitation and advanced technology will impact your everyday use. Pay special attention to how the charger will meet your primary needs for the devices you charge most often.

• A charger with a single USB-C port only allows you to charge one device at a time, so it is not the best choice for users who regularly charge multiple devices at once.
• The outstanding 45W power with Power Delivery support means that the charger can also be used for tablets or even certain laptops, although charging efficiency is always determined by the compatibility of the connected device.
• The compact Nano size allows for worry-free carrying and use on the go, which in practice means less bulky equipment, but not always the highest functionality in terms of simultaneously charging multiple devices.
• Advanced GaN technology effectively reduces heat and increases energy efficiency, but it also requires a quality cable and device that support the same fast charging standard for optimal results.

In practice

🟢 Basic and fast charging of one phone

The charger is perfectly suited for fast charging one phone with USB-C and Power Delivery support, as its 45W power allows for high charging speeds with the appropriate device.

🟢 Charging a tablet or other small electronic device

Higher power and the PD standard allow for safe and efficient charging of even more demanding devices, such as tablets or portable game consoles, if they are USB-C compatible.

🟡 Charging the laptop

The charger can power laptops with a USB-C port, but the 45W power is only sufficient for certain models; charging will be slower or limited for more demanding laptops.

🔴 Simultaneous charging of multiple devices

Since it only has one connector, the charger is not suitable for charging two or more devices simultaneously - if you have multiple charging needs at home or at work, consider a model with multiple outputs.

🟡 Charging with incompatible cables or devices

If you use a cable or device without Power Delivery support, the charging speed will be limited to basic or slower levels - choose the appropriate cable and device to maximize its potential.
