It is important to know

When choosing headphones for your phone or tablet, it's important to understand what wired and on-ear fit mean in everyday practice, especially compared to the more popular wireless or in-ear models. Before buying, think about what type of use suits you best and whether these headphones will meet your daily needs in an office or home environment.

• A wired connection means you won't have problems with power or finding chargers, but you are limited to the device the headphones are connected to.
• The on-ear design offers a balance between comfort and portability, but doesn't provide strong noise isolation - which can be a plus in a tidy office, but less so in a noisy environment.
• The built-in microphone and volume control are quite handy for quickly switching between music and calls, but the physical buttons mean that control requires direct access to the cable.

In practice

🟢 Everyday use for making phone calls and listening to music

The headphones are very suitable for basic listening to music, podcasts, or making phone calls on mobile devices when you want easy use without complicated settings or charging.

🟢 Work in the office or at home (video calls, phone calls)

The headphones are very suitable for working in a quiet office or home environment, where there is no need for active noise cancellation, and the microphone allows for clear calls.

🟡 Use in noisy environments (e.g. open office or traffic)

Suitable with limitations - because on-ear headphones without active noise cancellation do not isolate the environment well, they will be less effective when used for extended periods in a noisy environment.

🔴 Sports and exercise

Less suitable – the wired connection and classic on-ear design are not the most practical for running or intense exercise where stability and freedom are important.

🟡 Long-term listening (several hours in a row)

Suitable with limitations – the on-ear design may be comfortable for a short time, but can start to put pressure on the ears with prolonged use.
