The Sennheiser 1000204 headphones are wireless Bluetooth headphones with active noise cancellation support, designed for users who frequently make phone calls and want top-notch sound quality without interference from the environment. They are intended for those who make a lot of calls at home, in the office or on the go and are looking for reliability in conversations and easy operation.

The headphones offer freedom of movement by connecting to your smartphone or computer via wireless Bluetooth. The built-in microphone allows for clear calls, even in noisier environments. Active noise cancellation (ANC) means you can focus on your conversation or music, even if you're on the bus, at the airport or in an open office.

Evaluation of key product features

⚖️ Compare features with other products of your choice

Using Bluetooth connectivity makes it easy to connect to smartphones, computers and other devices without the hassle of cables. This means you can be completely free to move around, whether you're on the move around the office or making a call from the couch at home. You can quickly switch between devices, making it easy to switch between work and personal calls.

Active noise cancellation (ANC) is a key feature for anyone who wants peace of mind even in noisy environments. Sensors and built-in electronics reduce ambient noise, so you can hear your interlocutor more clearly, while office or traffic noise is significantly less noticeable. This technology is especially appreciated by those who work in open-plan offices or often travel by public transport.

The battery life allows for up to 14 hours of talk time, so you can use the headset for a day without recharging. This is especially important for users who have multiple meetings a day or frequently participate in video conferences and want a reliable device without worrying about power. The included USB adapter further simplifies connecting to a computer, without the need to install additional software.

The black minimalist design complements the professional look, while the built-in microphone allows for clear voice transmission even when talking on the move. The practical value of these headphones is that they support a quality experience for work and leisure, wherever you are.

It is important to know

When choosing a headset like the EPOS ADAPT 460, it's crucial to consider your usage patterns and the environments you'll be using them in. The main decision often revolves around priorities between comfortable fit, effective noise cancellation, and long-lasting wireless use for work or leisure. Before you buy, there are a few aspects to consider that aren't always obvious from the specifications.

• The in-ear design with adjustable silicone tips provides a stable fit and improved passive isolation, but some users may experience discomfort during prolonged use compared to more open or on-ear models.
• The combination of active noise cancellation (ANC) and a built-in microphone allows for clearer calls in loud environments, but for truly extremely noisy workplaces, the effect is still limited by physical isolation and the quality of the earbud type.
• Wireless connection via Bluetooth and the included USB adapter are especially practical for users who frequently switch between their phone and computer - but check that all functions work the same on different operating systems.
• Battery life of up to 14 hours is sufficient for most daily tasks or business calls, but aim for on-the-go charging if you expect above-average long use without breaks in between.
• Portability and a lightweight design are great advantages for anyone using headphones on the go, but this usually comes with some trade-off in comfort or ANC performance compared to larger (over-ear) headphones.

In practice

🟢 Work and video calls in the office or from home

Featuring a boom microphone with active noise cancellation and a comfortable in-ear design, these headphones are a great choice for business users who want clear calls without background noise.

🟢 Everyday phone calls and mobile use

Wireless connectivity, a portable design, and a long battery life make it easy to use on the go, in the car, or while performing everyday tasks.

🟡 Use in very noisy environments (trains, airplanes, open offices)

Active noise cancellation works effectively in standard conditions, but due to the in-ear shape and expectations regarding the ANC effect in extremely loud environments, it does not reach the level of isolation of larger over-ear models.

🟡 Sports, running and fitness

The stability of the fit is good for moderate recreational use, but they are not particularly suited for intense sports activities or high exposure to sweat.

🔴 Watching movies or gaming with minimal latency requirements

Despite the USB adapter, wireless headphones are usually less suitable for gaming or watching videos on TV, where the lowest possible audio latency is important.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Do they work with different brands of phones and computers?

Yes, they support Bluetooth connectivity with most modern mobile devices and computers, including an included USB adapter for easy connection to a PC or Mac.

What does active noise cancellation (ANC) mean on this model?

ANC helps reduce ambient noise, allowing for better listening to music or making calls in moderately noisy environments, but the effect is not perfect for very loud sounds.

How long does the battery last with typical use?

At normal volume and ANC on, you can expect up to 14 hours of battery life on a single charge, which is sufficient for most daily scenarios.

How comfortable are they for long-term wear?

The in-ear design is very light and discreet, but the feeling of comfort is very individual - it is recommended to try different sizes of earplugs for the optimal experience.
