It is important to know

When choosing office scissors, it is crucial to understand what tasks they will be used for most often and what comfort and durability they actually offer. The practical difference often lies in ergonomics, handling comfort and which materials the scissors are truly optimal for. Before buying, pay attention to the following:

• Universal office scissors are best suited for cutting paper and lighter materials, but for frequent contact with cardboard or foil, it is better to consider a specialized knife.
• For office tasks where cutting is frequent, handles with proper ergonomics can significantly reduce hand fatigue and increase accuracy.
• One type of scissors is usually not optimal for all types of materials in a company, so it makes sense to consider separate tools depending on the needs (paper, packaging, plastic).
• Grouping the same types of tools at individual workstations simplifies use and maintenance, while also enabling better traceability of wear or damage.

In practice

🟢 Cutting paper and lighter office materials

Very suitable - the scissors are adapted for everyday office use, where the main task is precise and smooth cutting of paper.

🟡 Cutting packaging, cardboard or thin plastic films

Suitable with limitations - scissors will be able to do basic cutting of packaging or cardboard, but for regular or more demanding use, we recommend a special office knife.

🔴 Frequent industrial or heavier warehouse cutting

Less suitable – for demanding cutting of multi-layered, harder materials or industrial use, more robust tools are required.

🟡 Use in various departments of the company

Suitable with limitations – although scissors are versatile enough, for optimal efficiency it is recommended that each department has the appropriate tool for specific tasks.
