The Bosch GWX 18V-11PS Professional cordless angle grinder (tool only) is a professional cordless tool designed for demanding grinding and cutting applications in construction, workshops and maintenance work. It is intended for users who need a reliable and powerful tool without the constraints of cables. With modern technology, it enables flexibility and efficient and safe work on various job sites.

The main advantage of this model is the combination of battery power with the X-LOCK system, which allows for quick and easy changing of sanding discs without the use of additional tools. This contributes to increased productivity, as the user can quickly adapt the sander to different tasks. The tool is powered by an 18-volt battery, which supports high performance and long-lasting use, and the ability to change batteries means that work is not limited by access to the mains.

The use of a brushless motor means less wear, longer tool life and constant power output even in tough jobs. The combination of a robust design and an ergonomic auxiliary handle ensures precise control and comfort during long sanding or cutting of metal pipes, sheet metal or other materials. The included X-LOCK system further improves work safety, as each plate always fits correctly and securely in place.

The disc diameter of this grinder is suitable for normal grinding and cutting, making it suitable for both professional craftsmen and experienced home users looking for mobility and reliability in the field. Since the battery and charger are available separately, the product is particularly interesting for those who already use Bosch 18V tools and want to make use of their existing batteries.

Same summary

The Bosch GWX 18V-11PS Professional is a cordless angle grinder that is optimal for mobile use in the field or in workshops where there is no possibility of a permanent connection to electricity. Due to the 125 mm disc diameter, it enables fast and efficient processing of metal and other harder materials, but is not the most suitable for very precise or small tasks. Since the battery and charger are not included, the product makes the most sense for users who already use the Bosch 18V cordless system or want to expand their tool collection from the same manufacturer. The X-LOCK system allows for quick disc changes without additional tools, which makes work easier, especially in dynamic environments.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Is the Bosch GWX 18V-11PS Professional angle grinder also suitable for longer work without interruptions?

Due to its cordless operation and the possibility of using additional Bosch 18V batteries, it is suitable for short to medium-length tasks. For more intensive and very long jobs, we recommend having one or more spare batteries available for continuous operation.

Is this model suitable for use in confined spaces?

A 125mm cordless model can handle most standard spaces, but it's not ideal for the most precise work or tight corners. For fine or precision work, it's better to choose a smaller sander.

What does the X-LOCK system mean on this grinder?

X-LOCK means that changing discs is very quick and easy, without additional tools, which is especially useful when changing discs frequently or working on different materials.

Do I need to buy a battery and charger separately when purchasing?

Yes, this product is a "tool only" product, meaning that a battery and charger are not included. If you already have a Bosch 18V cordless tool, you can use your existing batteries.

What materials is this grinder best suited for?

It performs best when cutting and sanding metal, as well as tiles and other harder materials. However, it is not recommended for fine sanding of wood or delicate surfaces, where other types of sanders are more suitable.
