The Bosch AXT 25 D shredder is the solution for anyone who wants to keep their garden tidy and save time and effort when removing branches. It can shred branches up to 40 mm in diameter very quietly and efficiently, making it perfect for consumers who need a robust yet user-friendly device for shredding garden waste.

This electric shredder is designed for home users and gardening enthusiasts who deal with thick, woody branches and want to compost organic material more easily. The brushless motor ensures stable operation even under heavy loads, while the spacious 53-liter container ensures less frequent emptying and more continuous work.

It stands out for its extremely quiet operation – it does not disturb the neighbors and allows use at any time of the day. The special roller-type shredding system technology ensures precise chopping and excellent performance with minimal risk of branch blockage. The brushless 2500 W motor allows the shredder to quickly process even thicker branches, without jamming and unnecessary maintenance. All components are designed to facilitate daily use and storage, as the device is foldable and takes up little space in the garden shed.

The user experience is further enhanced by automatic branch pulling, which means less physical work, greater safety and time savings. Where classic shredders often require constant pushing of the material, the Bosch system ensures that the work runs smoothly – even with dense and hard branches. The spacious and durable collection container is clear and easy to empty, and the device itself is portable with large wheels for easy movement between different parts of the garden.

If you want to turn garden waste into compost faster and without excessive noise, this shredder is a great choice because it combines high performance, user-friendly features and legendary Bosch quality.

Same summary

The Bosch AXT 25 D is suitable for garden owners looking for an efficient and quieter shredder for processing larger quantities of trimmed branches up to 40 mm thick. Its roller system with a 2500 W brushless motor enables stable shredding of thicker material with less noise, which is especially useful in more densely populated environments. Due to its design, the device is less suitable for users who mostly shred leaves or very soft greenery, as such materials are sometimes more demanding for roller shredders. The advantage of this model is the combination of a spacious 53-liter collector and quieter operation, and at the same time, it is considered that anyone who needs a flexible, powerful, but still simple shredder for home use in a medium-sized garden will well meet their practical needs with this model.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Does the Bosch AXT 25 D work well at shredding mixed garden waste?

The AXT 25 D model is best suited for processing thicker branches and harder material. It can process smaller amounts of leaves or soft greenery, but the roller system is optimal for harder materials.

What does it mean for a shredder to be "quiet" in practice?

The term "quiet" refers to a much lower noise level compared to conventional blade shredders, mainly due to the special roller technology. This is noticeable in built-up environments where noise can quickly become a nuisance.

Up to what thickness of branches can the shredder really process material?

The Bosch AXT 25 D is designed for branches up to 40 mm thick. For harder types of wood, we recommend that the thickness does not exceed this limit, to ensure optimal performance and less wear on the machine.

Is the collection container easy to empty?

The spacious collection container is easily removed and emptied. This functionality allows for quick cleaning even with large amounts of shredded material.

What to do if the shredder gets clogged after prolonged use?

If a blockage occurs, first turn off the machine and check for access to the rollers. Regular cleaning and removal of any debris will prevent most jams.
