Same summary

The AIWA SUMISUI - ASC-500 deep-cleaning vacuum cleaner with 600W of power is a classic type and with a spacious tank suitable for users who want a thorough clean when deep cleaning upholstered furniture, carpets and hard-to-reach places. The product works best in households with multiple carpets, pets or where hair and stubborn dirt are a common concern. Due to the power-to-volume ratio, it is not the best suited as the only vacuum cleaner in very large homes or for working on larger areas at once, but it can complement the basic cleaning routine for more demanding tasks. Its classic design stands out especially where deep cleaning is an advantage over just quick dust collection.

Answers to frequently asked questions

For what surfaces is the AIWA SUMISUI - ASC-500 deep vacuum cleaner best suited?

This deep-cleaning vacuum cleaner is primarily intended for deep cleaning of textile surfaces such as carpets, sofas, mattresses and car seats. Its classic design makes it particularly effective for removing stubborn dirt, crumbs and pet hair.

Is the model suitable for dog and cat owners?

Yes, both the device's key features and performance are tailored to the common tasks in households with pets, where hair and dirt often appear on carpets and furniture. For more information on choosing a pet hair device, see our guide to cleaning with pet hair .

What is the difference between a classic deep vacuum cleaner and a steam cleaner?

A classic deep-cleaning vacuum cleaner sucks and simultaneously cleans the surface with water and appropriate cleaning agents, which allows for effective removal of stains and dust from deep within fabrics. Steam cleaners use steam, which kills most bacteria and cleans without additional chemicals, but they are not always as effective at removing larger stains on textiles.

How difficult is it to maintain this vacuum cleaner?

It is recommended to empty the tank and clean the filter regularly, especially with frequent use and in environments with a lot of hair or dust. Regular maintenance greatly contributes to the reliability of the appliance.

Is this model suitable for use on parquet or laminate?

AIWA SUMISUI - ASC-500 is primarily intended for textile surfaces. For parquet and laminate floors, we recommend checking the possibility of controlling the amount of water or choosing from steam cleaners specially adapted for hard floors.
