Answers to frequently asked questions

Is it possible to connect multiple strings of lights together?

These LED lights are designed as a single chain and connecting multiple chains is not recommended to ensure safety and optimal performance.

What is the length of the cable between the plug and the first light?

This type of light usually has a sufficiently long power cable (somewhere between 2 and 3 meters), which allows for convenient placement even away from a socket. However, check the product's technical specification for the exact value.

Is the light controller waterproof?

Most memory controllers in UniL chains are moisture resistant, but we recommend that in case of outdoor use it is always protected from direct contact with water or heavy rain.

Can the lights also be used outside, in the garden or balcony?

Yes, these multi-colored lights are also suitable for outdoor use, but always make sure that the connectors and controller are protected from water ingress, especially in extreme weather conditions.

How does a memory controller work and what does it remember?

The memory controller remembers the selected flashing mode or program even after disconnecting from the power supply, so there is no need to re-select the desired lighting animation each time the light is turned on again.
