All you need is a suitable ZigBee gateway or control panel to operate.

What devices is this sensor compatible with?

The sensor is compatible with most ZigBee hubs (e.g. Sonoff, Philips Hue, Tuya). We recommend that you check before purchasing whether your hub supports all the features you want to use.

Where is the best place to install this sensor in the room?

Ideally, you should place it on an interior wall, away from heat sources or drafts, at about head height. This will give you more realistic data on the temperature and humidity in the room.

What to do if the ZigBee connection loses signal?

If the connection is interrupted, first check whether the ZigBee devices are close enough to the hub and whether there are no physical obstacles in between. If necessary, you can add a ZigBee repeater or an additional hub for better coverage.

How often should the battery in the sensor be changed?

The battery in the SNZB-02P typically lasts for more than a year, but the exact autonomy depends on the frequency of sending measurements and the distance to the ZigBee central station.

Description updated: October 2025

{
"@context": "https://schema.org",
"@type": "FAQPage",
"mainEntity": [
{
"@type": "Question",
"name": "Ali senzor deluje brez WiFi povezave?",
"acceptedAnswer": {
"@type": "Answer",
"text": "Da, SNZB-02P uporablja ZigBee protokol in ne potrebuje WiFi omrežja.
