The most common considerations are the type of weighing, the need for additional containers, and the value of connectivity in relation to the programs you already use. It's also important to pay attention to the difference between the declared capacity and your typical quantities.

A scale without a container requires you to use your own container for liquids or small ingredients – this can mean more washing up, but more freedom in size and shape.

The maximum load capacity of up to 5 kg allows for reliable home use, but with larger quantities (larger baking or preparing large batches of food), you quickly reach the limit.

A display with an accuracy of 1g is sufficient for almost all home cooking tasks, but for very sensitive diets or professional baking, you may want even greater accuracy.

Without a bowl and with a flat weighing surface, scales are often more compact, easier to store and clean, but you have to adjust the bowl yourself if you are weighing liquids or ingredients that spill.

Source of editorial recommendations: general verifiable guidelines for product measurements

With a maximum load of 5 kg and easy reading, the scale is perfectly suitable for typical household quantities.

🟡 Weighing small amounts of liquids or small ingredients

Due to the lack of a container included, you have to use your own bowl, which requires a little more flexibility, especially for very small ingredients or liquids.

🟡 Sequential weighing of multiple ingredients

If the scale does not have a tare function or cannot be used with the container of your choice, adding multiple ingredients sequentially will be a little less practical than on models with an integrated tare function.

🔴 Larger quantities – larger cooking or distributing to stock

The maximum load of 5 kg limits the weighing of larger quantities at once, which can be an obstacle when preparing larger batches of food or distributing large supplies.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Is the scale suitable for weighing liquids?

The scale allows you to weigh liquids, but you must use your own additional container for this.

Does it allow connection to smartphones?

Yes, the scale supports Bluetooth connectivity, which allows data to be transferred to the appropriate application.

Is the scale suitable for everyday household cooking?

Yes, the maximum weight of up to 5 kg covers the needs of normal home use.

Is the scale accurate enough for baking delicate recipes?

The 1g accuracy allows reliable weighing even for the most delicate recipes where accuracy is very
