The GP-LC 36/40 Li BL-Solo cordless chainsaw delivers freedom of movement, outstanding efficiency and fast handling - the ideal advanced solution for anyone who demands more from a saw but does not want to be limited by a power cable or a loud internal combustion engine.

This product is intended for modern users who like to independently manage their garden, occasionally fell trees or regularly prune branches, as well as for craftsmen and semi-professional masters. It is not only intended for professionals - with innovative solutions and ease of use, it is accessible to everyone.

The GP-LC 36/40 Li BL stands out with its modern brushless motor, which ensures high efficiency and reduces wear and tear and the need for maintenance. The system is powered by two 18 V lithium-ion Power X-Change batteries, which means you can use batteries from other Einhell devices. Powerful enough for more demanding jobs, but at the same time significantly quieter and lighter than petrol saws - without emissions. This means less noise, cleaner air and greater safety in use.

With a cutting length of 40 cm, it enables efficient and fast sawing of even thicker branches or logs. Features such as an instant chain stop, a robust metal toothed stop and an ergonomic handle ensure safety and comfort even during prolonged use. The tool is balanced, lighter (about 5 kg without battery) and can be used practically anywhere – in the home orchard, forest or on a weekend trip.

The key advantage of the saw is the combination of mobility, power and ease of use. Without cables and fuel, you are ready to work immediately - with the electric push of a button, starting is effortless. It belongs to the Einhell Power X-Change series, which allows users to effectively control energy consumption and make more sustainable use of multi-purpose batteries.

Property

Value

Rating

Sword length

40cm

9 🟢

Battery included

No

–

Battery voltage

36V (2x18V)

8 🟢

Weight

approx. 5 kg (without battery)

7 🟡

Brushless motor

Yes

9 🟢

Automatic chain lubrication

Yes

8 🟢

Stopping the chain

Immediate (safety)

9 🟢

Power X-Change battery system

Yes, compatible

10 🟢

Color

Red/black

–

Individual battery voltage

18V

8 🟢

Engine drive

Brushless electric

9 🟢

Product category

Cordless chainsaws

–

Brand

Einhell

–

+5 additional features

Same summary

The Einhell GP-LC 36/40 Li BL-Solo offers a good balance between the length of the bar and the battery capacity, which is suitable for garden maintenance or occasional firewood preparation. It is suitable for users who already have Einhell batteries, as the battery and charger are not included. The saw falls into the middle class in terms of versatility - it allows you to cut thicker branches, while remaining maneuverable enough for lighter tasks around the house. For absolute beginners or users without a compatible battery platform, the limitation is that the battery must be purchased separately.

Recommendation source: Enaa guides and team experience.

User view

This cordless chainsaw is a typical choice for home or weekend homeowners who regularly prune fruit trees, prepare firewood or do light garden maintenance.
